Every year, the prestigious NFL Draft comes around. Every year, scouts, GM's, coaches, and fans scramble and pray to draft an Ezekiel Elliott or Joey Bosa. There are teams like Cleveland who just can't seem to draft right and there are teams like Dallas and Atlanta that hit the home run. There's always a risk of drafting a Ryan Leaf or JaMarcus Russell but the hope of a Peyton Manning or Tom Brady is what keeps it interesting. Dynasties have risen and fallen, hopes and dreams dashed, but the draft comes and goes every year. And every year, you think to yourself; he's going to be the one. Which brings us to the 2017 NFL Draft, full of prospects and player-needy teams. Note: I am not accounting for any trades in this draft. The number after the name in parentheses regards to their ranking which I set in a different article. If you wish to read that article, click this link: 1: Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M (1) Position needs: QB, CB, DE I know I said that Cleveland's primary needs are quarterback, corner back, and defensive end, but the truth is they need help everywhere. Coming off a ridiculously bad 1-15 season, the only way to go is up. That is, unless they manage to pull a Detroit and go 0-16. Garrett is by far the best prospect in the draft. He has been described as lightning quick, amazing hands, great instincts, and has a good work ethic. I would compare him to a Von Miller type player because of his fluid movement and ability to get to the quarterback.. Any time you can get a guy who plays like Miller in the draft, you aren't doing much wrong, even if you're Cleveland. 2. Mitchell Trubisky, QB, North Carolina (44) Position needs: QB, OG, OLB, WR Since 2013, the 49ers team has been a downward spiral of 12-4, to 8-8, then 5-11, and now 2-14. Very quickly they have become the laughingstock of the NFL, perhaps more than Cleveland because how good they were a few years back. Many factors can be blamed for the lack of success but the firing of Jim Harbaugh and the deteriorating play of "franchise quarterback" Colin Kaepernick were the two major reasons. It's time to put the Gabbert-Kaepernick-Kelly-Tomsula days behind us. New GM, new coach, and new quarterback. Trubisky being picked at no. 2 may raise some eyebrows because of his limited experience but he has looked good in his first year as a starter. He threw thirty touchdowns, six interceptions, averaged 288 yards per game, as well as rushing for 308 yards plus six touchdowns. He has been compared to Matthew Stafford because of his arm, decision making, and speed. Not bad for a first-year kid. I see him developing into an above average starter. Not sure about him changing the culture, though. 3. Jonathan Allen, DT/DE, Alabama (2) Position needs: QB, OL, CB/S The Bears' history isn't all that far away from the 49ers if you look at their records. They just hit the decline a little earlier. In 2013, they went 8-8, then 5-11, then 6-10, now 3-13. Sheesh, that's rough. Lucky for them they have a gem in Jordan Howard, who was second in rushing yards with 1,313 yards only behind Ezekiel Elliott, despite only starting 14 of the 16 games. The truth is, I would love for Chicago to make a bold move and go quarterback. But, I just don't see it happening. I mean, I don't like Jay Cutler. You don't like Jay Cutler. Chicago doesn't like Jay Cutler. In my humble opinion, he's a massive waste of talent. He's got one of the greatest arms I've ever seen yet his work ethic is horrible. He isn't a leader and he isn't what a quarterback should be. Yet for some reason Chicago's front office cannot move on. Enough with my rant, back to Allen. He's very versatile meaning he can play as a nose tackle, an end, and even an outside linebacker if you wanted. He's an absolute monster, who tears up defenses and can make plays. He racked up 10.5 sacks this season, 69 tackles, and 16 tackles for a loss. They way he just barges through defenders reminds me a lot of when I see Eagles games on TV and watch Fletcher Cox. I might change my mind about this pick depending on what Chicago does with Cutler. I can't see the Bears passing on him, and the idea of Leonard Floyd and Allen together would make any quarterback's head spin. 4. Malik Hooker, S, Ohio State (5) Team needs: OT, S, OG, RB This was a tough one between Hooker and LSU's Jamal Adams. I don't think you can go wrong with either but Hooker's awareness is just incredible. He has astounding instincts that he will follow and play the ball. Hooker and Jalen Ramsey could form a lethal combination where quarterbacks think twice before throwing their way. The Jaguars are coming off a rough season where many thought they would be on the rise. I would compare him to Earl Thomas III because of how he relies heavily on his instincts and flies into tackles with excellent ball skills. If Bortles and Robinson can play at their 2015 levels, the running game gets going, offensive line play improves, and the Hooker-Ramsey tandem works; watch out for the Jags! 5. Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State (8) Team needs: WR, CB, S I don't see the Titans taking a receiver like Mike Williams or Corey Davis this early and it's possible they do, but they need secondary help. Off the top of my head, I can't even name a corner back for them except for maybe Jason McCourty who is 29. Getting a guy like Lattimore in there, who has good ball skills, great speed, and solid footwork would really sure up the secondary. I see him being what Ramsey was for the Jaguars last year, a solid starter. I would probably compare him to Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie in how he plays the game very physically. He has had injury issues and if I were the Titans I would probably trade down for Williams, Davis, or even Jamal Adams. But I feel like Lattimore is the guy that the Titans need. 6. Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson (38) Team needs: QB, CB, OLB I know I'm pulling the trigger on him a lot earlier than most people would think he would get picked. But New York is tired of ol' Fitzy and Bryce Petty. They haven't had a decent quarterback since Mark Sanchez was good for about a year, and that's stretching it. Deshaun Watson is a player who has proved himself to many people after winning the championship against a staunch Alabama team. The way I see Watson is that he will either be amazing in the NFL and go on to have an incredible career or he will be a bust. He's a very high risk, high reward kind of guy, throwing 41 touchdowns and 17 interceptions this season. That number 17 makes you raise an eyebrow but that number 41 makes you raise the other one. My player comparison for Watson was a hard one. I ended up with going Robert Griffin III, in his first year. They both aren't perfect passers and I sometimes don't love their decision making but add a dual threat as a runner, and you have a solid guy. I think Watson will be more successful because of a clean record off the field and strong leadership skills. This kid is a winner and I hope that translates to the NFL. 7. Jamal Adams, S, LSU (3) Team needs: OT, S, WR I have a joke. Where do you go when your phone is low on battery? Not San Diego, they lost their Chargers. Too soon? Too soon. This pick could easily be switched with the Jaguars with Jags picking up Adams while Chargers go with Hooker. To be honest, I really don't think you can lose either way. Adams is an expert at blowing up tackles in the backfield and has delivered some nasty hits. I would compare him to a Kam Chancellor type guy. Yeah, that's right, I compared both my top two safeties to Seahawks safeties. I'm a biased fan, what are going to do about it? But the way he finds a way to always be there smashing into players is remarkable, similar to Chancellor. San Die- I mean Los Angeles have been licking their wounds ever since Eric Weddle left for Baltimore and they need a guy to pick up where he left off. That guy is Jamal Adams. 8. Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU (4) Team needs: OT, DE, RB, CB What even happened to these guys? Is Cam Newton really a Scam Newton? Did Josh Norman's departure hurt them this bad? I thought with Kelvin Benjamin back, they would be able to at least go 11-5. Well, "dab" backwards is "bad". This entire season was backwards for the Panthers. Cam Newton had no time and lost almost all confidence by Week 5. The aging Jonathan Stewart couldn't get anything done. The defensive line needs work. Luke Kuechly got a concussion. Their secondary was scratched up from Norman running after money. So what do they do? Grab the best running back in the draft and hope he does what Ezekiel Elliott did for the Cowboys. Fournette is an extremely talented back who has the speed of a receiver and the strength of a linebacker. He will run through half your defense and then run past the other half. I see this guy as an Adrian Peterson type player, with that rare combination of speed, strength, and agility, making him a perfect all-around back. I think he will be successful in the NFL for many years. Carolina is a very good place for him where he can receive tutelage from Rivera. I think the Panthers bounce back and go 8-8 or 9-7. It's probably best to forget this season and just hand the ball to Fournette. 9. Reuben Foster, OLB, Alabama (7) Team needs: OLB, DE, WR This entire season for the Bengals was like the playoffs for them every year; just bad. I'm questioning if Andy Dalton is the guy who the Bengals can rely on to take their franchise to a Super Bowl, but quarterback isn't an immediate need. A.J. Green needs help and Brandon LaFell isn't going to cut it. I could see Bengals going for Mike Williams at this pick, who plays a lot like A.J. Green, but in a draft stuffed with exciting pass rushers, I think you have to go with Reuben Foster out of 'Bama. He's very physically gifted with a combination of speed and strength that allows him to destroy running backs, offensive linemen, and quarterbacks. I worry about his instincts as they're average, but he had the dedication to lose weight to improve his speed, which is something I like to see in a player. I would say he's a mix of Luke Keuchly in the way he wants to punish players but he doesn't have the same instincts. He's also a mix of Bobby Wagner in the way he physically is outstanding in the run and doesn't always rely on instincts. 10. Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan (16) Team needs: WR, S, QB, RT A lot of people don't like Tyrod Taylor. I don't get it. 17 touchdowns, 6 interceptions, 3,023 passing yards, rushed for 580 yards, and another 6 touchdowns. I don't think he is the problem in Buffalo. Sure, 3,023 yards isn't much compared to standard for passing quarterbacks but he rushed for another 600, which I don't see Brady or Brees doing. What Taylor needs is a smaller contract and better wide receivers. Sammy Watkins missed half the season and didn't even put up decent 8-game numbers. He was on set for a season of 860 yards, 4 touchdowns, and 54 receptions. Who are his backups? Marquise Goodwin. Robert Woods. Percy Harvin. Are you kidding me? Give me a break. Get Corey Davis in there and see what Tyrod can do. Davis has a great attitude and is very competitive. He has good speed and fights for the ball. He is very good at long balls and can track the ball with ease. He's excellent in 50/50 balls and makes big plays. This comparison might be a little exaggerated but he reminds me a lot of Odell Beckham Jr. in how he racks up RAC yards. He can juke, run, and catch. He would be an excellent fit under new head coach Sean McDermott. Sorry, Eagles fans. 11. Sidney Jones, CB, Washington (12) Team needs: DE, CB, S This team can't keep taking the ageless Drew Brees for granted. The offense is getting the job done and if you look at the numbers they put up, they should be demolishing teams. That is, until you see how much the other team put up. The defense needs to at least be decent for the Saints to have a chance. I liked the addition of Sheldon Rankins last year and if he didn't get injured, I think he would have had a strong chance at Defensive Rookie of the Year. Jones has a good work ethic and has exceptional ball tracking skills. He is very fast and can recover quickly, with exceptional reflexes. Scouts compare him to Marcus Peters, without the off-field issues. I think he's gonna be a stud in the NFL but I don't know if he will be able to change up the entire Saints defense. He will sure up the secondary, though. 12. Deshone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame (51) Team needs: QB, CB, S Well, look who's back. After a blockbuster trade with Philadelphia last year where Philadelphia got their guy in Wentz leaving Browns fans feeling ripped off again, they're getting their guy in Deshone Kizer this year. Kizer has a great arm, nice wheels, and has a sturdy frame. Cleveland needs a quarterback badly and Kizer is that guy. It can be argued he's the best quarterback in this draft and under Hue Jackson, he might be able to play like how a quarterback should. I would compare him to a poor man's Russell Wilson, because of his legs and accuracy. Is Cleveland finally drafting a competent quarterback? Only time will tell. 13. Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama (21) Team needs: G, CB, WR, QB With Kizer gone, I don't think Arizona will go for a quarterback, because none are worthy of going at this point. I personally think that the Eagles will trade up to this spot to ensure that they will get Clemson receiver Mike Williams. Patrick Peterson needs help and Marcus Cooper isn't the answer. Humphrey, Peterson, and Mathieu would be a deadly combination in the backfield. Humphrey has good instincts, high aggression, and a good work ethic. I'm not the best at analyzing corner backs but I hear that he's been compared to Jimmy Smith, the Raven corner back, for those traits. Because of his work ethic, I think he will do well in Arizona. 14 or 15. Dalvin Cook, RB, FSU (15) Team needs: DE, OLB, RB, LT Following the departure of two veteran linebackers in Robert Mathis retiring and D'Qwell Jackson retiring, I really wanted Indianapolis to draft a linebacker or pass rusher. They may possibly trade down to take one or take DE Solomon Thomas out of Stanford with this pick. Overall, I can't see them passing on a prolific talent like Cook who would really take the weight off an overworked Andrew Luck who is getting battered behind a shabby offensive line. If the offensive line can even play mediocre, Cook will succeed because of his effortless way of running through tackles making defenders seem like they're not even there. He relies on his speed heavily and he can make a loss of three or four yards a 95-yard touchdown. He has had injury issues as well as character issues which I hope can be overlooked. I can't really compare him to anyone I see in the NFL right now. He reminds me of tape I've seen on Marshall Faulk, Clinton Portis, and Edgerrin James, a Colts legend. Anytime you get comparisons to legends like that, you have a bright future. 14 or 15. Mike Williams, WR, Clemson (14) Team needs: CB, WR, LT, RB, DE This is a pick that could easily be switched with Corey Davis going to Buffalo. I just don't know who Buffalo prefers. I see Williams going to either Buffalo, Arizona, or Philadelphia. Williams is exactly the weapon Philadelphia needs to rejuvenate an all but dead offense except for Carson Wentz. Williams is big, fast, and aggressive. He attacks the ball and will dominate one-on-ones. He's reliable and quick, exactly what Philly wants right now. I think Williams will be a stud in the NFL and hold your horses, but my comparison for him is Julio Jones. I don't know that Williams will be as good as Jones, but he definitely has the potential and some. Fly Eagles, Fly! 16. Solomon Thomas, DE, Stanford (6) Team needs: DE, WR, CB Baltimore really aren't that bad. The thing is, if their players keep getting injured each season, everyone on that team gets another season older. They need another pass rusher who can create fear among that defensive line and Thomas will do that for them. Wide receiver and corner back is something they can address in the second and third rounds but solidifying that defensive line with a guy I think they are lucky to fall to this point is more important. Thomas has a strong work ethic, solid build, and stays hungry. I'd compare him to Ezekiel Ansah, of the Detroit Lions. They both have a hunger for the ball and a commitment to the game that I like to see. That fire is going to make him a very good pass rusher. 17. Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan (27) Team needs: S, DT, DE Washington missed out on the playoffs after flopping against New York in their last game and a big reason was that they couldn't hit the quarterback. Ryan Kerrigan is the only one who is getting pressure and he needs help. Enter Taco Charlton, a fearsome 6'6" tall, 236 pound end who has been described as "freakishly athletic" by scouts. He can play inconsistently so the Redskins coaching staff will need to bring out his inner monster, but once that's unleashed his ceiling is very, very high. I would compare him to J.J. Watt, physically but I don't think he has the toughness or the mental attributes to play like Watt. I think he has a very high potential that I hope Washington sees. 18. John Ross, WR, Washington (20) Team needs: WR, S, OLB Having already addressed corner back earlier with Lattimore, I think the Titans go wide receiver and pick up an incredibly fast and best receiver available player with Ross. If they don't Tampa definitely will with the next pick. He is a dangerous return man and will leave your ankles broken. He can be considered undersized but has solid hands. He will bring out Mariota's arm and I can see him having an impact like Tyreek Hill this last season, but not as fast. I would compare him to Jarvis Landry, the Dolphins man who is a danger on returns, screens, fly routes, and almost every play. 19. Alvin Kamara, RB, Tennessee (33) Team needs: WR, DE, RB, C The Bucs need a second receiver to help Mike Evans but unless they want to reach for Air Force's Jalen Robinette, Eastern Washington's Cooper Kupp, or ECU's Zay Jones, I seriously doubt they will take one with this pick. With Doug Martin's off-field issues and a lack of confidence in Charles Sims II being their man, I think they take a talented Kamara with this pick. On 284 carries, he scored 23 touchdowns at Tennessee. He does have off-field issues but he is well liked in the locker room. Excellent acceleration and can catch the ball. I would compare him to a less talented Marshawn Lynch from what I've seen. I think the Buccaneers will do well coming off a promising year and hopefully Kamara will help with that. 20. O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama (9) Team needs: OG, OT, TE, QB I've never loved the Broncos and I don't think they deserved a Super Bowl last year so when they missed the playoffs this year it didn't really surprise me as much as others were. I don't really see any offensive lineman going this high, so they may trade down and get one. The front office has been nonchalant about the quarterback situation so whether it's Tony Romo, Jimmy Garoppolo, Trevor Siemian, or Paxton Lynch throwing the ball I think O.J. Howard is going to do well catching them. He is extremely physically gifted and has wide-receiver speed. He can make short throws become 80-yard touchdowns and throw linebackers and safeties off him. I would compare him to Jimmy Graham, mostly because of his physical skills. I think Denver get a real weapon in Howard and Giants fans won't be too happy about this. 21. Derek Barnett, DE, Tennessee (18) Team needs: OLB, MLB, DE, DT, RB I don't think any linebacker still available is worthy of going this high so Detroit will go with Derek Barnett, the best end available who is arguably better than Taco Charlton or Solomon Thomas. He has excellent hands and is always looking for the quarterback. He can drop into coverage and wants to make plays. Detroit's defense is in shambles except for Darius Slay and maybe Ezekiel Ansah, who had a horrible season dropping from 14.5 sacks last year to just 2 this year. Barnett could help Ansah or vice versa and I think it would be a great pair. 22. Tre'Davious White, CB, LSU (22) Team needs: OLB, DE, G, CB The Dolphins are coming off a season where a lot of people didn't think they would make the playoffs. Thanks to Jay Ajayi's inconsistent triumphs and Tannehill's season ending injury, they didn't make it very far. Other than Reshad Jones, I don't really like the Dolphin's secondary. The best cornerback is between Xavien Howard and Byron Maxwell, not exactly two guys you want battling for that. Enter Tre'Davious White. White has great instincts and doesn't make rash decisions. I would compare him to Marcus Peters because of their reliabilty, long arms, and quick thinking. He can quickly evolve into a lock down corner and he is clean off the field which is nice to see. He wore the number 18 at LSU, a high honor that means he has had success on and off the field as well as being selfless. White's presence in the Dolphin's backfield is one that I think would help Miami go a little further in the playoffs next year. 23. David Njoku, TE, University of Florida (24) Team needs: OLB, TE, RB, DT The Giants' front office must be feeling pretty good about themselves after solidifying that New York defense, with additions like three huge additions like Janoris Jenkins, who had an excellent season, Damon Harrison, and Olivier Vernon. Now that they're keeping Jason Pierre-Paul, they might look back at their offense. I don't really like Eli Manning that much but I think he has a couple more years left in the tank but it's time to give him some help for now. Odell Beckham Jr. is a star and Sterling Shepard looks like he may be. With the top tight end off the board, the Giants aren't really settling with Njoku. At 6'4", 245 pounds New York gets a monster in Njoku. He is very muscular, has a high catch radius, and has a hurdling background. He is not afraid to block and creates separation easily. He's an excellent option for New York. I don't really have that solid of a comparison but if I was forced to go with someone it would probably be Delanie Walker on the Titans. Both have surprising speed and great RAC ability. I could see Njoku definitely coming in and helping the Giants to go a little deeper in the playoffs. 24. Adoree' Jackson, CB, USC (23) Team needs: MLB, DT, CB I think every fans', Raiders or not, heart shattered a little bit when they saw Derek Carr laying on the ground immediately saying, "It's broke! It's broke!" after a crushing (pun intended) hit on his left leg. A moment of silence... Anyway, so last off-season the Raiders made a move which I thought was a good one in bringing in some big defensive players like Sean Smith and Bruce Irvin. Sean Smith did not perform exactly how a lot of people thought he would while Irvin had a solid season racking up 7 sacks. While Oakland (or will it be Las Vegas?) does have a OK player in David Amerson, in a draft considered one of the best corner back classes in many years, I think they need to go corner back. Jackson has a huge upside with high potential at coverage, very good ball skills, and a fierce aggression. He has made plays at defense, offense, and at special teams with 8 kick-return career touchdowns. I would compare him to Adam "Pacman" Jones (early in his career) who had that same aggression, versatility, and kick return ability. I think the Raiders should be very excited with this pick. Don't be surprised if they manage to usurp Super Bowl reigning champions led by Tom Brady this year to make the Super Bowl. They should not have the 24th pick and they may very well have had the 29th pick to the 32nd pick. 25. Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama (35) Team needs: QB, T, MLB Most people would probably agree that they really don't deserve to be this high. Or at least, one half of the team. After scraping past the worst division in football, they lucked out on a Raiders team that forgot to get Carr insurance (great pun, I know). The defense played well enough to beat the Patriots but Brock Osweiler just couldn't get his stuff together. They need a new quarterback and some people are going as far as to say they might take Patrick Mahomes with this pick. Chill, dude. They need a new quarterback that manages to not waste $72 million and an NFL-best caliber defense (and that's without J.J. Watt). But offensive line comes first as my battered Seahawks know. Cam Robinson is commonly made fun of by spoiled Alabama fans for all the false start penalties he gathers but fail to realize just how crucial he is to a running game. Robinson attacks with a ferocity, probably the cause for his false start penalties, and will match power with power. The only real struggle he face all season was against Texas A&M's Myles Garrett, who, of course, I have going as the No. 1 pick in the draft. I would compare him to Jason Peters of the Philadelphia Eagles, who has that same power. If Texans can fix their offense, I think they're set for a successful 2017 NFL season. 26. Forrest Lamp, OG, Western Kentucky (32) Team needs: OG, OT, CB, DT The Seahawks are a few steps away from ensuring a Super Bowl and have had always had a winning season since the arrival of Russell Wilson. Wilson is coming off his worst season, based off QB passer rating, mainly because of an offensive line ranked dead last by Pro Football Focus. Lamp has solid hands, quick feet, and pretty good strength. He can line up at center, tackle, and guard, adding to his value. He's an above average starter in the NFL that will definitely solidify Seattle's O-line. He's currently drawing comparisons to Zack Martin. With an offensive line that wasn't as bad as it is now but was still horrible as well as no Marshawn Lynch, Wilson put up career numbers with 35 touchdowns, 4 interceptions, and 4,024 yards. Really wanted to take Christian McCaffrey here but it just didn't make sense. 27. Jabrill Peppers, S/LB, Michigan (11) Team needs: MLB, WR, CB Peppers has insisted that he wants to play safety but he has proven that he is loyal enough to make a position change to help his team and I see Andy Reid being able to creatively use Peppers in a way that fills their linebacker hole as well as satisfying Peppers. Many people think Kansas City is going to reach for a quarterback here but Reid's a smart guy who isn't going to reach for a guy he doesn't love here when next year, there's going to be a stacked class. Peppers is excellent at stuffing the run and attacks with as much force as he can. Peppers is a heavily overshadowed player because the presence of super-star safeties like Jamal Adams and Malik Hooker. He has a unique ability to rush the quarterback, cover receivers and backs, and shows an incredible hustle. He comes from a trouble family where his father was in jail the majority of his childhood and his brother shot and killed 7 years ago. He has been relatively clean off the field and shows a humbleness and will to improve that I love to see. I would compare him to Tyrann Mathieu just because of his versatility and ability to play several position. I think he's going to be very good in the NFL and Kansas City are getting a steal. 28. Charles Harris, DE, Missouri (25) Team needs: CB, S, DE, DT Rod Marinelli's defense has greatly improved this last season but it still isn't hundred percent. They haven't been able to draft a pass rusher that they can consistently rely on. We're talking about a defensive line that is just waiting for someone to swoop in and steal the show in a Dallas team that has incredibly high expectations and an even harder schedule. We're talking about a defensive line that consists of Maliek Collins, Cedric Thornton, DeMarcus Lawrence, and Randy Gregory, who just can't stop doing drugs. Jaylon Smith is expected to make his return this year and I expect big things out of the huge prospect turned a second rounder because of a injury taking him out for a year. Charles Harris is a guy who immediately make an impact coming into the NFL. He has very good agility and quick feet, though he needs better hands. He has good stamina and hustles throughout the game. He has excellent block shedding. He reminds me of Vic Beasley this past season. I think he could be exceptional in Marinelli's defense. 29. T.J. Watt, OLB, Wisconsin (26) Team needs: CB, OLB, MLB, RB T.J Watt may always be known as J.J. Watt's brother but that's not why I'm putting him in the first round. Green Bay's beat up defense is a major reason they couldn't handle Atlanta. Their corner backs are a mess but I don't think they need to draft one this early in a draft hailed as one of the best corner back classes in the past decade. Watt has an exceptional ability to shoot through tight gaps and get the quarterback. He gets compared to a current Packers player, Clay Matthews, for his drive and ability to quickly shoot through gaps. 30. Haason Reddick, OLB/DE, Temple (19) Team needs: CB, S, OLB The Steelers are a team that has tons of talent but never can seem to be able to challenge for a title for whatever reason. Perhaps it's just the dominance of the Patriots or the coaching of Belichick but they cannot finish. The first step to fixing that is the defense. They will be lucky for Haason Reddick, a player that shot up draft boards after an impressive Senior Bowl. Reddick reminds me of as a mix of Lawrence Timmons, a Steeler that left this offseason and another Steeler, Ryan Shazier who Reddick will play with. Reddick has a unique quickness and versatility and is productive on the field. The Steelers could go for a cornerback or safety here but I don't see anyone worthy of going this high. I don't know how Reddick will do in the NFL but I think he will help the Steelers defense. 31. Takkarist McKinley, DE, UCLA (17) Team needs: DT, DE, LB The Atlanta Falcons are coming off a crushing Super Bowl loss that, halfway through the game, I don't think anyone saw coming. Coming off a Super Bowl, the Falcons don't have many pressing needs but defensive line is one. Vic Beasley Jr. finally lived up to his draft hype a year late leading the NFL with sacks with 15.5. At defensive tackle, I think the Falcons stay with second-year Grady Jarrett who had a record-tying Super Bowl, sacks-wise. Takkarist McKinley would be a monster on the defensive line and has excellent work ethic. He has long arms, is good at changing direction quickly, and has an acute mind. I would compare him to Robert Quinn of the Rams with the athleticism and rangy arms they both have. 32. Christian McCaffrey, RB/WR, Stanford (10) Team needs: DE, LB, RB Patriots may take a swing at Tim Williams with this pick but regarding his troubled past I don't think they will. Instead, they pick a guy perfect for the Patriots mindset, a hardworking and smart kid out of Stanford that can be used at wide receiver, running back, and on kick returns. McCaffrey is one of the players in the draft that I like the most. He has a continuous grind to him and has his priorities in order. He would fit with the Belichick mindset and add a brand new aspect to an already very talented Patriots offense. There really isn't a player that comes close to what McCaffrey does but if you put a gun to my head, I would say it's a slower Tyreek Hill in his versatility. As a running back, his patience reminds me of Le'Veon Bell. I think he will be a stud from this year's class.
